Deposits for Photographers/video

How much did you have to put as a down payment for your photographer and videographer? I had planned on booking those on my week off this month, but I wound up putting a lot more down on the DJ than I expected and am not sure if I will have enough to book the other two.

We put down 1000....but we didnt have to....we could have put down less....

Our DJ is Bravura, I'm really psyched about them.

If I put $1000 down, I def. don't have enough. Who's your photographer?

Ours was 20% which would have been 900 but he let us put $500 down.

usually they work with you. I think most want 20-40% down though. They are all different.

$500 for photographer and $600 for videographer

I put $400 down for photo, and $1,450 down for DJ

1/3rd for photo and 1/3 a month before the wedding and 1/3 when we pick up our photos

the deposit wound up being like 740 somthing like that not positive.

We had to put down $800 for photo only, we're not having a videographer.

We're putting 1/3 down...between $500-$600 for our photographer...our DJ asked for $100 deposit and the rest a month before or the night of the wedding
