depressed

I cant seem to control myself around food anymore! i have to lose weight and i am not getting anywhere! i cant stop eating! not only do i have to lose weight for my own wedding, but i am in a wedding next june and we are going to start looking for dresses and I dont want to be the 'fat' brides maid that cant fit into any of the dresses that all of the other girls can! I cant stand it anymore. i buy clothes then get home and put them on and hate them. we have our e-shots on tuesday and i dont even want to take that. Why cant I be motivated?

sorry! just had to get that off my chest... maybe that took off a pound or two. HAHA

#2 i totally know how you feel i always feel that way
#3 i have the exact same problem with food lately. We should have a support group, like if you want to eat something and you know you shouldnt you can call me and i'll talk to you till the craving goes away.

#4 you will look amazing in your epics so shush and be sure to post them when you get them back.

wow. i totally know what you mean. I keep picturing myself the way i was a few years ago. It's what i think i look like till i try on clothes or look in the mirror. It's hard, I know.
I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, but i mean it, you look awsome now, i don't care what you used to look like.
you know?

i meant the thing about calling me. It works really well from what i've been told.

It is hard to get motivated. im struggling with that myself. FH is sooo motivated and that depresses me at times.

Just think how much hotter youll look to yourself (because im sure everyone already things your hot) when you start getting on track.

I know that i need to stop letting myself on this sight untill after ive worked out cause once im on here, thats it for the night.

Oh honey. Notice the 'I took this picture from way up high' angle? It works wonders. I wonder if my photographer will stand on stilts to take pics for our wedding. It's the only way to go. You lose 10 lbs instantly. but thanks - I'll take the kind words and have myself another handful of chips.

I FEEL FOR YOU.

I froze a devil dog today and thought this was the greatest thing ever. I wish I was one of those people who didnt care about food and only ate to live!

Re: depressed

well you have plenty of time, you have a year to lose the weight so it definitely can be done. YOu just need to think about what you said earlier, before you think about what you should eat, just remember ahhhh should i eat this and be happy for the few minutes i eat it, or eat something more healthy and feel good about myself and like the way i look in a certain dress. Don't think oh i gotta get on track soon, JUST DO IT NOW!!!!!

Re: depressed

I know EXACTLY how you feel because I feel the same way and was complaining to FH last night about it.

Just like you, I have to be in my sister's wedding this october and I told myself I wanted to lose another 10 lbs by then. . . .well, p.s. i think I've gained 10!

It's so discouraging and hard but today is a new day and I'm going to really try my best to get back on track and stay there. The weekends seem to be my biggest problem cause we eat out a lot. But I guess I just have to learn to start making wiser choices.

Don't worry, you'renot alone, YOU'RE NOT FAT, nor will you be the fat bridesmaid and we love you!

We can do it together!

One of the hardest things is getting yourelf motivated to lose weight. I must get back on track too. But, I can tell you this, you are not fat, you will not be a fat bridesmaid and you will look beautiful. The best thing to do is pick a day, like Monday for instance and make that be your day to get on the scale. Then each Monday go on the scale and weigh yourself and write it down. It works wonders. Also during this time just make wiser food choices. If you want a snack eat a bag of carrots or apples. They make the little portion control bags. I take them to work with me everyday. For meals try and substitue grilled for fried and add a lot of vegetables. Drink a lot of water. But the worst thing to do is become depressed because it makes you less motivated.

Re: depressed

don't be hard on yourself. I think when I try to loose weight the harder I am on myself the less I loose or the more I gain. I really do think it's mind over matter sometimes. I was watching this show and they said cravings last about 8 minutes, time yourself 8 minutes when you start wanting whatever junk food it is and after 8 minutes it's gone, not sure if that works, lol. The key when on a diet is to not deprive, allow yourself a snack in something you like but the correct portion amount. Also upping whole grains, fruits and drinking tons of water works wonders. You have a long time to worry about getting to your ideal size if you take it a meal at a time you'll get there in no time. Good luck and don't be so hard on yourself.

I was going to say just about the same thing yesterday, you are gorgeous!!!!!!! Don't stress yourself out so much.

Honestly, otherwise stress will make you just end up eating everything in site and feel ten times worth....its sooooo not worth it!!! I know the feeling all too well.

We should definetely start our own little brides anonymous group.

It's funny how meeting you and the other girls gives me a different perspective. I had such a nice time and I can't wait to do it again :)
