Anyone have depression while they were pregnant? I'm sure it's hormonal, but I feel like I have post partum depression before the baby is even here! I cry at EVERYTHING, and I'm talking SOB. Everything overwhelms me and we have so much to get done, and so little $$. Everything is making me crazy. Anyone else have this? I hope it goes away once the baby is here!!!
I haven't been on cloud nine eaitehr these last few months. Have you spoken to DH about this?

Re: Depression
I can also relate. I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and moving into our new home this weekend. You would think I would constantly be on cloud nine with all the wonderful things that are happening for us right now. But I am feeling very overwhelmed by everything - and find myself, not depressed, but very very hormonal. I keep reminding myself that it HAS to be the hormones - because everything really is wonderful!!

DH knows and has been very supportive, when he's home. He works so much that I'm alone ALOT and although he is definately the breadwinner of the family (I only work P/T) everything else falls on me. It's really just normal stuff, but I'm feeling completely overwhelmed. The baby will be here in 11 weeks and we are not NEAR being ready.

Re: Depression
I wasnt depressed either time. The first time one I was alawys pissed. i broke my hand twice from, punching the wall. I thought it was sheet rock and it was concrete. OOPs. I dont know why I normally am not a violent person. I gave birth with a cast on my hand. You see me in pics with my son and I ahve a cast its funny but sad at the same time. I was depressed afterwards felt so overwhelmed.
Second times it was a breeze. My folks were out of town my in-laws were unavailable to help and I had two kids to deal with, with no help. But for some reason so much easier

Re: Depression
You may want to discuss this with your OB. PPD can begin during pregnancy. You do not have to live like this. There is help. Just ask your doctor for help.
