Dr. Darren Mollick is my derm, who I think is fantastic. He has two offices-one in Woodbury and one in Great Neck.

Re: Dermatolgy
I've struggled with acne for years, and unfortunatly the thing i've learned is there is not quick solution. One thing I would recommend in addition to your topical creams is to watch your diet and excercise. Drink more water, and cut out all processed sugar and fried food from you diet and eat a lot of vegetables and fruits instead. It will take 2-3 weeks for you to see an improvement but it will help. Not only will your skin look better, but you will feel better too! Good luck!

I suffered from bad acne through my teen years well up to about 2 years ago. I went to dermatologists and the creams they prescribed only seemed to make my acne a lot worse. The only thing that has worked for me is washing morning and night with Neutrogena Clear Pore Daily Scrub and then applying Neutrogena On-The-Spot acne treatment cream at night before I go to bed. With the On The Spot cream, I squeeze a line onto my pointer, middle, and ring finger and rub that onto my face until it is 'soaked in', kind of like applying lotion to your face.
Also, drinking lots of water helps a lot too.
Good luck. I know how frustrating adult acne is and how much of a toll it takes on your emotions. I hope you find something that works for you.
