UGH!
Apparently, you can not jst get an appointment. I am having some sort of nasty reaction to my wedding ring, and had to make an appointment for 10/18.
Are there no Dr.s that can see me like- soon?
This is nasty. I don't think it is wise to have a 3 week wait on a skin condition- what if I have flesh eating disease?

no, just 2.
They kept telling me that specialists have 6-8 week waits, so I jumped on a 3 week appt.
I a lazy- I will keep calling I guess.

what about calling your OB/GYN. it could be some hormonal thing from the pregnancy....maybe they could help.

what is wrong with it anyway. I am the queen of strange skin conditions.

Re: Dermatologist

it's probably ring rash

I had it. Take your rings off when you sleep, shower, wash your hands etc. Make sure your hands are SUPER dry before putting them back on.

I suspect this is the case. Bc I leave it on for all these tasks. Andlately it is more snug.
The pharacist at Target suggested anti fungal cream, so I bought that.
I'll let you know.
The suck is that I pee 450 times a day, there fore wash my hands as frequently.
I may need ot just stop wearing the ring.

Hi Lauren,

Try Dr. Barry Solomon. He is in Smithtown and has been my dermatologist for years. I still go to him even though I live in the city!

His number is (631) 265-1351.

Hope that helps
