Can anyone recommend a GREAT dermatologist in Nassau County(south shore)? I have been to SO many doctors and have been on SO many medications, with no improvement. I'm getting extremely frustrated! I need someone who will once and for all clear up my skin. HELP!! :)
PS - I have EMPIRE insurance. TIA

I just recently went to Joseph Oronato..a few people in my family go and really like the people in the office. Sometimes you see the PA instead of him. They are in New Hyde Park/Garden City area. He may have another office.

I actually live in the city so I dont go to him anymore, but I used to go to Dr. Craig Kornreich at South Nassau Dermatology in Oceanside

Dr. Frank DeMento in Garden city- hes on Franklin Ave. look him up- he has a website.. i had a red little rash on my face beofre my wedding. i went and they gave me a cream that cleared it right up!..the office is wonderful. my sister, her husband and my husband have gone. he has a few associates that i have never been to so i would wait for an appt for him. hes worth it!

Who does the hair removal there? the doctor or some assistant. I got really freaked out because a friend of mine got these dark circles after she was treated by someone who was not the doctor.

Dr. Eric Fryer or his wife Jennifer. They have offices in Bayside and Huntington. They may be able to give you an appt. in the next week or so...since its the two of them they have many hours.
They are awesome...I thought they were so good I even went there when they didnt accept my insurance.

I went to Dr. Craig Kornreich today and LOVED him. He had a great personality - very friendly. He gave a very thourough exam and I felt very comfortable with him. If anyone is looking for a dermatologist, I highly recommend him! Thanks Alyssa for the recommendation!
