Hi! I'm having my wedding at DeSeversky next fall!! It is an amazing place!!:-) It is part of The New York Institute of Technology. It is their culinary arts institute (that should tell you right there that their food is amazing!)...
The guy that we work with has been wonderful and incredibly professional. Here is their info:
You may also want to look into:
-Harrison House (very, very beautiful and has guest accomodations on site)
Oh, one other mansion that I just remembered is Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale. It is on the Dowling College Campus. Through someone else's post I found that they use Stone Caterers (which also does Coindre Hall (that was Coindre Hall's second caterer that I did not know the name of).
You can see their website at:
I'm sorry that the receptionist was rude to you on the phone, but do not let that stop you from seeing the place or talking to the person who is in charge. I'm having my wedding there next fall, and I actually was invited to one of their monthly food and wine tasting last night, which was AMAZING!! The food and service were incredible. I can't stop talking about it. The person whom you can call directly is Bob Ventresca. His direct line is (516) 626-1600 XT. 248
Hope this helps!
