Design your own Save the Dates?

Did anybody else design their own Save the Dates and have them printed by Wedding Paper Divas or another site?

I have been trying to come up with a design (I work with the Adobe Creative Suite daily), but I'm not sure if I want to go this route now.

Any other brides design their own STDs?

Design your own Save the Dates?

I made mine and am going to get them printed through vistaprint. Nothing fancy. Just a photo of us that says 'save the date' in script and then the bottom I have our date, names, location, and wedding website. I actually made mine on PowerPoint LOL

Design your own Save the Dates?

That sounds great! I have to sit down with the FH and see if we can find a decent picture that isn't too grainy. I tend to over think things too much. I like to design, but nothing is really looking nice and not like it's a craft project LOL.

What kind of price are you looking at Vistaprint?

Design your own Save the Dates?

I haven't ordered mine yet but i'm thinking of using shutterfly.com. Their save the dates aren't too expensive and right now they're having a sale 50% off when you spend $100 or more, 40% off when you spend $50 or more and 30% off for orders under $50. The only problem is I think the sale ends tonight so you would have to order them asap. But they have many styles to choose from

Design your own Save the Dates?

Vistaprint has a sale right now also through the 22nd. Up to 50% off with code SAVEBIG. I am still waiting for my e-pics, so hopefully we will get them back in time (we took them last Friday). I looked into postcard magnets and I think it'll be about $60 for 100 of them. That shutterfly deal seems awesome too, I'll have to check it out. I don't think I'll have my photos today though lol. Maybe I can ask the photographer to send me a few to pick from. She's been sending me some over Facebook as teasers, but hasn't sent any yet in the outfits I wanted us in for the STD photo.

Design your own Save the Dates?

I designed and made all of our STD's.. not fun. I don't have a reliable printer and it was really annoying. If I could go back in time, I would have had them printed somewhere. The design work was easy though especially since you work in Adobe daily. I am a photoshop girl so it was easy. I have pix in my album if you want to see.

Your STDs look like they'd be really annoying to print and put together, but they came out so cute!!!! They're so unique!

I saw it! Yours are so cute and way more involved than what I am doing lol! I was planning on just doing a postcard and printing from Wedding Paper Divas. Now that I see Vistaprint is having a sale, I think I may just do that. I don't have a very good printer so someone else would be doing that.

Design your own Save the Dates?

I recreated my own version of this design: https://www.etsy.com/listing/64997642/color-photobooth-save-the-date-thank-you for our save the dates. It has a photobooth strip that I attached to the back with photo corners and all of our info in the other side.

I used Vistaprint and am so happy with the way they turned out. Including the photobooth strips and address labels it cost me about $75.

Design your own Save the Dates?

I too used Vistaprint and a company that prints on balloons! I designed a postcard on Vistaprint that said Please inflate and save the date...Then I had our wedding date and location printed on a balloon. Then I just used funtac to attach the balloon to the postcard. believe it or not..It was about $1 for each. Plus all of our guests have the best stories about where their balloon is! :) My friend's son played with it for days and popped it haha
