DESPARATELY SEEKING MY SANITY!!!!

have i lost it???!!!

with all the hurt feelings i've had lately, i wonder if i can ever just be happy about my wedding in time to save it.

my eyes are swollen because of all the crying, i'm losing my voice from all the yelling, and i just feel like crap.

every month my job provides breakfast. today, they lumped in congratulating me with the breakfast. when other people have had momentus occassions, a big deal is made. mine was an afterthought. i feel like no one gives a *F* about me and my wedding.

when i mentioned that i wasn't too happy about how it was treated to a co-worker who is also a good friend, she lectured me about being grateful.

have i gone to that point?? am i that self-centered and greedy that nothing is good enough for me??

i don't want to feel like this, but i feel that no one cares and no one loves me.

is there any saving this wedding?

I understand how you feel. It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the wedding and underwhelmed by other people's regards to it. Try to forget about everyone else and concentrate on you and FH and enjoying your day. Much easier to say than do, but worth a shot!

I am so sorry! If you need to chat FM me. Just remember that sometimes people are selfish. Try not to take it personally.

You're almost there!! Don't give up now. Yes, it does take it's toll, the exhaustion and you start to feel a little crazy but, only a few more days!!!!

I felt pretty crappy last week, for some reason once I hit 5 days left to go, my whole attitude changed for the better. Just look @ the bright side of things and that your special day is coming up sooo soon. GOOD LUCK AND CHEER UP only few days left. ENJOY!

Don't feel bad-please. Just enjoy the next days before your wedding, try and relax. Easier said than done, but I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.

awww... I know how you feel!! I just posted something VERY similar at the same exact MOMENT as you!!! VERY WEIRD!!!

I'm so sorry you feel that way... you have every right to expect what you've done for other people. And voicing that to a coworker only to be called ungrateful is not what you need right now - she's not a friend. And to think you were gonna go nuts looking for headsets for them as a gag favor... screw them. They're not worth it. My coworkers aren't. Remember... my coworkers are ALL RSVP'ing NO to my wedding, without even ACKNOWLEDGING receipt of the invitation to my FACE!

I think people are the same as they've always been to us... we just have higher expectations of them at this time of our lives, which is why we keep getting disappointed. Wow. That was very insightful of me just then. I'm gonna print that out in BIG letters and hang it above my desk. You do it, too!!!

You learn a lot about life and people during weddings. You learn most of them suuck - a few of them ROCK. So don't waste your time on the first ones.

Aww, I'm sorry you're so upset. Just remember, in less than a week you'll be marrying the man you love, it will be tons of fun and you'll be happier than you've been in a long time... and petty office stuff won't even be a tiny piece of the tiniest thing you're thinking about. Hope you feel better soon.

Things are in the home strech... just think u got through all that other b.s.... nothing is goign to break that smile on ur big day....
just take a huge deep breath and drink some chamomille tea when you get home.. maybe a bubble bath or long hot shower... and remeber the big picture...you are marrying the man of your dreams!

I think your sanity is out talking a walk with mine. I'm am sure they will both be returned in time for us both to enjoy our respective wedding days.

Try not to let coworkers (who are not your friends, they are just coworkers) upset you. They are not worth your time and energy.

Your wedding will be a celebration of the love you and your FH have for one another, and there is not one single person on the planet that can take that away from you!
