Desperate - Card Box

Girls I am getting married in 2 weeks and need a card box - do you know where I can get one? I am not really a DIY person so that would be out - thanks!

I got mine at David's Bridal. I added some flowers and ribbon to it to dress it up a little bit. You can see pics in my albums! Happy to help!

Davids, Michaels, AC Moore, etc. Some bridal salons rent them too, I think.

This may not sound very classy (though it actually looked pretty good!), but I just took a cardboard box, cut a slot in it, and wrapped it up in wrapping paper and ribbon with my wedding colors...... easy, cheap - and I didn't feel bad throwing it out afterwards!

Fairy Tale Affairs in Massepequa---they have beautiful ones to rent.

I'm using a hat box that originally came from Marshall's.

Here's ours. I wasn't going to buy one till I saw this. You can use it as a shadow box afterwards.

I don't know if it would ship to you in time.

Some stores like Marshall's, ACMoore and Michaels have the rectangular boxes with a handle that look like a mini suitcase but have very pretty paper wrapping. My theme was roses and I found a nice smallish box with a rose pattern. I plan to save all my cards and other keepsakes from the wedding in this. It's pretty and compact and just right for storage. You might think about this alternative. It doesn't have a slot but I just undid the clasp and ligfted the lid and that worked fine for me. They run around $5 to 10 depending on size.

I made mine the night before so don't feel bad. Just get a box from macys or Bed bath & beyond & cover it with fabric. I went crazy & added riddon & pearl trim but that's not needed, everyone will know what it is. Good luck

I found a decorative bamboo birdcage at Marshall's ( I wish I had a pic for you) - they have tons of things in the home section that could work as a card box

They have them at Party City too, that's where mine was from (I borrowed it from a friend though instead of buying my own).
