the baby trunk is baby Dana....Zacks little sister that he killed when he was a boy and his parents (mary Alice) covered it up to protect him.

the cops said it was an adult person, not a child

How is a teenage (?) nanny supposed to handle 4 children when the mom couldnt even do it?

Noone has that much energy to entertain kids for that long. Theres something not right about that

Maybe the body WAS Dana...maybe she was a lot older than Zach???? No one said how old Dana was.....
I think that Zach was traumatized...he might have seen Dana get killed....prob. by the father, so Zach blocked out the memory. The father doesn't want Zach to remember, that's why he's locked him away in that mental institution without allowing him to get psychotherapy...he ordered the nurses to medicate Zach with out psycho-analyzing his illness.....and yesterdya when Zach mentioned he was remembering things, they were popping into his head, his dad said to pop them back OUT.....
