you can do them both on word. just play around with the formatting. you may want to look at someone's program first to see what you'd like to include. i made the programs & menus & photocopied them both onto nice paper.

Re: DESPERATE: NO clue where to start on programs!
we recently made our own rehersal dinner invitations....and before we did that we looked online for ideas and tried to see what was out there...and then we designed one of our own. i found searching for ideas to be a great starting off point. good luck!

You can be as creative as you want. I have a whole rose there, and found CHEAP program coveres in staples for 50 for $3. So I got them, they are pink with a rose and says our wedding.
I can print on the front and insert the pages, then tie ribbons for the binding.
Use your imagination. Incorporate someting from your theme if you have one. Color, pretty paper and ribbon does wonders. Include parents names, bridal party names and roles, readers, readings, songs, prayers, etc.
I am also including my family momentos I am carrying and butterlfies are a tribute to the family members unable to be there today, but are in out hearts,,,etc.
