Desperately looking for somewhere to get hair done

I am getting married on a Sunday at the beginning of Nov. and am trying to find someone to do my hair. I don't really know where to start.
I have a wedding this Saturday and would like to try out the hairstyle I like to see how it lasts through the day. Totally short notice, I know!
I need recommendations. Please help!

I'm not sure if you are looking to go to a salon or have someone come to you. I have heard good things about Borte Salon and Spa (there's one in East Northport on Jerich Turnpike and one in Smithtown).

What kind of hair do you have? What area are you looking to go? Nassau Suffolk?

try the Maximus Salon in the Source Mall in Westbury--it's a large place, so you shouldn't have any trouble making an appointment. I was there on Saturday getting my hair done for a wedding i was in, and they did a fantastic job. The bride got her hair done here too, and it came out beautiful!

My sister's good friend does weddings and is doing my hair - I highly recommend her.

I would like to have my hair done in my house the day of the wedding, if possible. I would like to find someone in the Western Suffolk Area ideally (West Islip, Babylon area).
In reply to the type of hair I have, I have long, straight hair which I would like curled for the day of the wedding.

Celestial Hair Gallery in Smithtown is great. My friend just had them come to her house for a wedding, and she fell in love with them. They send a hairdresser to the house to do updos and 2 girls to do makeup. They also do wedding parties right out of the salon. Their phone number is 631-863-0072. The owner is Karla.

Try Soto Salon. They are in deer park on 231. I highly recommend Cindy. I've used her many times. Everyone there does good work. Not sure if they will come to your house but you can always ask.

my hair stylist does the cover of magazines. If you want I can give you her information.

She does Instyle weddings and other photo shoots. Her price is along the lines of other stylist for weddings. She does travel to you, or you can go to her in Manhattan.

Dakotah Spa and Salon is where I had Joe (the owner) come to my house and do my hair for my wedding. It wasn't down with curls, but he is amazing and so nice. He also did my friends wedding and her hair was down with curls and it stayed all night!
The salon is so close to your RH as well.
