Desperately Need a Band!

For those girls who are already married or those who have booked a band, who can you recommend? I liked Renegade, but they're booked for my night. What have you heard about Heart & Soul, Live Wire Entertainment or any of the Skyline Orchestra bands?

BTW, my date is October 25, 2008!

Heart & soul is greatttttttttttttttttttttttt...i've heard them a few times at showcases then at a wedding recently. Very good band

I am using Heart & Soul and I also heard Code Bleu, a Skyline Orchestra band, while I was looking.

Code Bleu was a great band and I really liked them. If Heart & Soul had been booked on my date or something, I would've been happy to book Code Bleu. Ultimately, I picked Heart & Soul because I thought their female lead vocalist was an amazing talent. The rest of the band is phenomenal as well, but she really has a stand out voice. I didn't feel there was anyone who 'stood out' like that with Code Bleu, although I did think they were very well rounded in terms of talent!

Thanks for the information! I know Heart & Soul is playing tomorrow night, but I live and work in Manhattan so it's difficult for me to attend unless I plan on signing them that night, which might happen.

Any idea if they can sing Jewish songs? Any idea about price?

Good Clean Fun Band is awesome.
I am using them as well as at least one other 08 bride.
past LIW brides have used them too.
they are not really known for being a 'wedding band' but they have done plenty of weddings and are totally awesome.

definitely check them out.
their price is sweet too.

I think I know the perfect band for you. They are based out of Rockland County but are willing to travel to LI. We heard them at our friends wedding and they were AMAZING and we booked them for our wedding. They sing a lot of different languages and they do a lot of Jewish weddings. For us they are singing in Italian. THe name is Continental Orchestras and the singers name is Moshe Katzberg.

I am using Skyline, and i heard them 2 times in person, and was sooo happy to book them

I saw about 12 bands during my search
some more than once

Another amazing band was Times Square Orchestra
hands down they were out of this world

I also saw this other band, Alive and Kickin, and OMG i cried, the 2 lead singers were amazing, and hands down the best sax player in the business!
They were so awesome!

PARIS (SOUNDCHECK ENTERTAINMENT) IS THEMOST AMAZING BAND I HAVE EVER HERD! Me and the mizz lol went to a showcase and they were there. Lisa (mizzdimple) is using them see if she can help you. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU MEET WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to recommend my band, Soul Revival, until I saw you were getting married on the same day as me ... so unfortunately, my band is booked!

I also highly recommend BODY & SOUL. They are having a showcase at Zachary's in East Meadow this Friday. We went to see quite a few bands and loved B & S. Tell them Chris sent you!
