Desperately need hotel advice (kinda long)

Well I though we had this all resolved, but apparently not. We decided to block rooms at the Marriott Islandia and shuttle our guests to Oakdale (15 mintues) Last night when we were talking about rehearsal dinner options with his BM we thought about changing the hotel to something more quaint so that the OOT guests can walk around the town. Yeah an extra headache, but oh well.
We're still planning on shuttling our guests. If we find something in Nassau, then everyone can fly into Laguardia rather than Islip. We're thinking under $150, and hopefully keeping the shuttle ride under 45 mintues to exit 46 Southern State. Any suggestions?

We are getting married at Timber Point which is in the next town over to Oakdale...we used the Wyndham Windwatch for our block and they provide a shuttle to and from airport as well as to and from the ronkonkoma train station.

If you want somewhere for the guests to stay where they can walk, the only place nearby would be Port Jeff where you have Danford's and 2 bed and breakfasts

Do you happen to know the names of the B&B's in Port Jefforson?

port has more than 2 b&bs they have
1.miss scarletts
2.ransome inn
3.golden pineapple
4.the holly berry
5.the white house on high street
we have these all booked out for my wedding and i have to tell you the white house on high street is awesome that is where i am spending my wedding night - they are really costly though.
if you need any more info fm me - i have been to all of them and can tell you about them ( well except holly berry - that woman never returns calls )

The Melville Marriot on 110 is off the LIE at exit 49 and would be cutting close to your shuttle requirements.
