Desperately Seeking Weight Watchers Member

ISO Weight Watchers member who attends the Lynbrook program in Phillips Plaza so when I join, I can go with them (faithfully) to meetings and to weigh ins, week by week to lose weight (not my sanity) so I don't get lonely or bored by going alone. In turn, I will be flexible and any week night or weekend time will be ok with me, and we will both look amazing on our wedding day...

Awe, I think your 'ad' was so cute. Unfortunately I don't live near Lynbrook. I joined WW 4 weeks ago, and still have yet to attend a meeting. Good idea finding a buddy! I hope you find one!

Awe - I don't think many people are on today... plus not many check the slim down board. Why don't you join anyway, and utilize us to be your motivation? It's work for a lot of us so far

I just need someone to keep me in line! Someone to make sure I drag myself there weekly. (Especially to the weigh in) I just don't want to register alone. Also, I have a Bally's membership, if anyone wants to try that approach with me???
But seriously, I would really like to find someone in Lynbrook...

What Bally's do you go to? I go to the one in Levittown.

I am a 'Lifetime' member of the one in RVC...I think I've been there 5 times since 1999. But my dues is up to date? Does that count? Willing to go to Levittown once a week to workout there though, but you have to promise not to laugh at my inexperience!

I go to WW in Bellerose on Saturday mornings if you're willing to travel.

I am also a Bally's member but usually go to the one in Little Neck but I'd be willing to meet up somewhere else just to have someone to work-out with. I know how you feel about the lifetime membership - actually, as long as your dues are up to date you can go at any time. I just went back in October after a 3 year lapse. They didn't give me any trouble.

I go to the WW in New Hyde Park too But I go on Thurs night after work. I cannot get up early enough on Saturday.

The NHP WW is not too close to Great Neck - it's further south. It's not too far from you - probably about 15 min. On Sat, they have meetings all morning so I usually go whenever I can. What time works well for you. I think they have meetings every 1 1/2 hours. I'll check the schedule and re-post.

Unfortunately, this Sat is bad for me since I'm working. Want to go one night during the week instead? - Maybe we can meet hmichick tomorrow night.
