Dessert hour boxes?

Dessert hour boxes?

What kind of boxes or bags are you using for your vienesse hour if you want your guest to take some desserts home?

Do you think something like this (the one on the left) is OK or is that too un-fancy. I was going DIY mine and put a sticker on the front or print on them, just punch the edge, and put wax paper or parchment paper inside. (My reception is at a vineyard) I am having second thoughts though. Should I get nice boxes instead? Where are you guys getting yours?

I did a search online for to go boxes and ordered them. I put a label on each box with our name and date. They looked like the pastry boxes you get from a bakery.

we did the same thing. we ordered our boxes from papermart.com and labels from vistaprint

ETA that i think the pic on the left is really cute and would look cute for what you're going for but I would just make sure that it's thick enough that the bag won't rip if people start to add a lot of stuff in the bag

I love those kraft paper bags!

We ordered white favor boxes from oriental trading, and I'm adding a kraft paper border & sticker as it gets closer to the wedding.

Thanks ladies. Yeah I think I'm confused as to what direction I'm going with in my wedding. I'm not sure if I'm going rustic or formal or what. There is no central theme I think. Even when it comes to bags I'm confused.

I'm going to check out those places you guys got your boxes at and see what they have!

Thanks!
