Were getting married August 2010 on a NCL cruise



Also did you Ladies do a traditional (big) dress or did you go for something more modern (light weight/ beach friendly)?

I am not a destination bride, but my best friend was. She got married on the beach in Bermuda. She wore a big gown, but it was 1994! I think light flowy and beachy for a destination wedding.

Since you're doing a cruise, it's probably easier than coordinating hotels, etc. (which I know for her was a bit difficult). I'm not sure where your cruise is leaving from or if any of your guests need to fly to get to the port, but you may want to hook up with a travel agent who your guests can call to make arrangements for flights, etc.

I just got married on the beach in negril jamaica. I would have taken my wedding gown if it didnt weigh 100 lbs...haha. I ended up buying a champagne color goddess style bridesmaid gown for the ceremony, pretty and light. Its alot hotter than you think. Go Barefoot (if your getting married on the sand).

We had everything already planned for us, absolutly nothing to worry about. Have fun!!!
