Well it depends. We stay in Jamaica a lot and I know many of their weddings are free as long as you stay at the resort...completely free. Check out the Sandals resorts and some of the resorts on the 7 mile beach in Negril. I think some in DR also do free wedding if you stay there.
You are exactly right. According to my math and this is with just a few people, less than 30. We are looking at $10,000 to 15,000 total. Venue in DR Punta Cana packages are starting at $1,500 to $5,000 for 24 people.
