Destination Weddings -- Help

A girl friend of mine got engaged and is having a Destination Wedding in the Dominican Republic. I would love to lead her down the right path and give her a book, magazine or website. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If any brides out there have had a Destination Wedding, I would love to know the good, the bad and what to do/not to do so I can help her out.

We were going to have a destination wedding. Even went to the point of checking out hotels in the Bahamas. A great place to get advice is the knot. They have a message board for destination weddings. Those girls were are all very helpful.
