Is anyone using a detachable veil (wear the veil comes off of the comb, and the comb stays in your hair)? I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my hair and the veil, and I'm trying to get some ideas.

i had the veil detachable, but the blusher stayed on
so after the ceremony, i moved the veil from the top of my head to underneath my updo

I'm having my veil made on a stick that goes into my updo and it will sit underneath my comb headpiece. I'm going to take the veil out after the church and pictures for the reception.

I guess so. I've just never seen one with a fancy comb. Mine was cheap-o white plastic, but it worked!

I guess I was thinking about fancier combs, like either the headband things or the things that go around your updo.
If you have the regular plastic/metal comb in, will it mess up your hair if you take it out?
