Detox diet?

Detox diet?

Hi ladies,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good natural detox diet? As in not taking any type of pill, but something natural (i.e. veggies or fruits, soups, etc.). I want to detox and then start to eat right. I don't feel like I need to lose any weight; I'm happy with my weight. I would just like to purify my body and get rid of toxins and such. I seem to have more allergies and just feel fatigued and like I'm retaining water all the time. I try to drink lots of water, but then I have to run to the bathroom like every hour!

I'm getting married next Nov, 09 and I'd like to do this and be healthier before then.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Cabbge Soup Diet. I actually mentioned this in a thread yesterday.

Nevermind. Just read your post fully. Cabbage soup will make you lose weight. I suggest asking your Doctor which detox regimen he thinks is best for you.

i have one diet, i posted it not long ago if you want. The problem with detox diets is that they will ALL be very strict. I had doctors look over the cleansing diet i had and they said yeah its what a cleansing will be like and its fine. The one i have is a high protein one that speeds up your metabolism. Its not easy though and its for 2 weeks

Theres alot of them out there. There is one that for a week all you eat is lemon juice and cayenne pepper, so they can be pretty extreme

My brother did the diet from Celebrity fit club... I dont know the name of it but you can buy a book on it like he did. It was all natural foods for the first week or so to purify the body and they I think you slowly start adding some regular stuff. First week or so was all salad, veggies, tuna things like that. There was one day he was the the Bathroom every five minutes (sorry to be graphic) but that was the body getting rid of all the un wanted toxins according to the book. He said it made him feel great...Ill see if I can find out the name of the book and they guy who wrote it. It worked really well for him I was thinking on going on it as well.

Someone from my job is doing that water with lemon juice and cayenne pepper detox... it looked nasty and she said it was disgusting.

Its called the Fat Smash Diet. FH and I tried it and even though it works GREAT and you see results right away, after the first few days you feel like youre just starving yourself to death. It was hard for us to continue with it anymore. but that was just us, i know a few people that stuck with it and lost over 20lbs in a few weeks
