since the start of summer he was seeing spots and getting light headed, he blew it off, and never mentioned it. well the other night he was watching his little girl well his wife worked, and he just fell over, and couldnt speak for a brief time, and his right side was numb, he said after a few min. he seemed ok. then he got up the next morn, never telling his wife and went to work. he collapsed again at work and he speech was slurred and could not move his right side, his boss rushed him to the er, well last night he was life flighted to pittsburgh presbaterian hospital, they took him in for a nine hour surgery, his aorta deteriated, and here in johnstown we only do mechanical transplants of the aorta, but the damage is so bad that he needs a human one, and they actually have those on hand in pittsburgh from donors. and the mini strokes was caused from a bacteria infection from the heart going to the brain. dh and I are going down later today. it is about a 2-3 hour drive depending on traffic. they also did say he is lucky not to have had a massive heart attack caused by the mini strokes, it would have killed him. and so far they do not think the strokes caused any damage. please say a prayer for him and his wife and there little girl.

Thank you, ladies. dh mom lost a son when he was only 18, from a motorcycle accident, I really dont think she could handle losing another. she looked so frail and scared last night it makes me cry.
