he was in surgery for ten hours. what the doctors here thought was bacteria at the roots of the aorta was calcium, so instead of giving him the human transplant they went with the mechanical. they said they feel he will have a full recovery, but for the next couple weeks he will need 24 hour care when he is discharged from pittsburgh, thank all of you for your prayers, and warm wishes.
