he is going to LA to do hurricane relief work. But he an end up anywhere they need him most. its part of his uncles buisness and his uncle was down there for well forever when katrina hit. i know this one is no where near as bad as katrina but when there are a bunch more on its tail he can end up whereever the work is, he may be leaving friday!! and wont be back untill christmas!!
BUT the good side of this is that he will be making at least his monthly pay in a week!! and we are planning a move in FEB so this will really help us out!

aww Good Luck to your DH!!! And I am sorry you have to be without him for a couple months. It does stink....but it definitely goes by fast. My FH has been in Iraq for 5 months now (only has 2 more to go) and I haven't seen him for 6 months now so it has gone fast!!!
And your DH is doing great work helping rebuild after the hurricanes!! I am sure his work will be greatly appreciated by those who need his help!!!

I know it s*cks that he has to leave for so long but he is doing such a great thing. And like you said -- more money for you guys!
Easier said then done but the time will go fast.

thanks girls....i am sure the time will go fast too! i am just a lil nervous. we have lived together for 4 years and i have never been on my own before. i am tottaly sure i can handle it its just going to be diffrent!! i am proud of him for going there and helping out. i know its not like hes volenteering or anything but its going to be some hard a$$ work and long a$$ days. they are mandated 1 day off every 2 weeks but they work 13 days at 15 hours a day!!
