DH screwed up Internet Explorer on me

DH screwed up Internet Explorer on me

And now the box where you type in www.whatever.com is gone.

I had to google liweddings.com to get to the site.

How can I get my box back?!?!?!

Right-click on the top toolbar (in a blank space) and check off the 'Address Bar' option.

Luna...Thank you very much...ok...so the grey box that contains the Addresss box is back but whatever DH did (and he swears he didn't but I don't touch the toolbox) now my 'back' 'forward' 'stop' 'refresh' 'home' and all those buttons have disappeared...more like the address box moved squished them off that area. I had them there last night, how can I get them back?

oh man...it has something to do with the F11 button...but I figured it out...he must have hit the mouse to squish the tool bar or something...anyway it's fixed..thanks

Go to View ---> Toolbars ---> Standard Buttons

You probably had 'F11' syndrone. This is an occasional question my help desk gets. Frankly... i am not even sure what causes the screen to go like that... I just know that F11 usually fixes it.
