I am hypoglycemic. It is kind the same but opposite. I have too much insulin and diabetics have too little but the symptoms are similar.

My sister and my dad do. I know alot about diabetes because of them and taking care of them.

Re: DIABETES

My dad has diabetes, and just went through kidney failure last year so he's on dialysis... I've always had symptons... this last summer they got really bad and my Dr's thought I finally developed it, but tests came back negative... but my dad developed it around my age, so I'm paranoid as all hell... after this scare this summer, I radically changed my eating habits... doing everything humanly possible to deter it!

My mother is diabetic, and so were both my grandmother's...I get really nervous about it.

What kind of diet changes should one make?

Re: DIABETES

My dad has it and we have all learned about it. Dale's uncle has had it since he was a child and actually is not doing well because of it. He is in need of a kidney transplant but can't get it until his health improves so his body does not reject the new kidney.

my father is a type 1 diabetic for over 20 plus years. he currently controls his diabetes using an insulin pump, which he has been using since it first came out. please feel free to fm me anytime.
