Does anyone have any good links to a diabetic eating website?
My mom was just diagnosed with diabeties and her doctor pretty much gave her no info! So I am just wondering if any of you have any good information that I could pass along to her.

my father has diabetes and my mom is a nurse. my dad gets a lot of diabetes meal plan books. i'll be @ their house tomorrow...i'll see if i can get some info and i'll send you fm.

depending on what insurance plan you have they should cover a dietitian or nutritionist for your mom...
give them and call and check..

An insurance company may cover a dietitian (RD) but will almost deffinitely not cover a nutritionist.
