Diamond Cut

I've been hearing some bad things about Diamond Cut DJ company. Can any of you who know them please give me some input so we know if we should start looking for someone else?

Sorry we never heard of them, but if you're hearing bad things I would check it out! Music is the most important thing!

did you hear a lot of bad things or just one? Where did you hear? I always take bad reviews seriously, but you have to remember some brides are totally psycho and NOTHING will ever please them, so if you like the DJ and have good references, book them!

I sware I am not pyscho and you are more then welcome to come over and watch the video of our reception. Have you asked the HTH why he isn't 'house' anymore?

I just got off the phone with one of the OWNERS of the HTH, and although he did admit that Diamond Cut is a very good DJ, he tends to be very unreliable. He told me that they no longer have him on their vendor list, nor do they invite him to their vendor showcases anymore. His exact words were:

'I wouldn't recommend him, but if you feel comfortable with him we won't stop you either. He was just here a few weeks ago and did a terrific job, but in the long run, we just had too many problems with him.'

We are now in the process of trying to find another DJ on such short notice. Like someone else posted on another thread, some of you may have had a wonderful experience with this company, and I hope I am not offending you. In fact, I wish you would step forward and let me know. However, after hearing so much about this guy, and especially from the HTH themselves, I would feel better finding someone else. I hope we can get back our deposit, but basically it's probably worth the lost money to have peace of mind.

Thanks to all who have posted about this guy, and I would still like to hear any postivie feedback about him, too.
