diamond district

ok so i've heard about this place for years... never been there until this past saturday.
my FH got my ering there.
Let me just say something....
HOLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SMOKES. the amount of diamonds I saw. I was like OMG if I was a guy wanting to propose I think I'd go crazy. Any kind of e-ring/diamons/jewelery you could possibly ever imagine.
There was a woman at the store we got our wedding bands who had a 5carat e-ring. $$120,000
can anyone imagine this???????????

i could not believe it.
the amount of $$$$ that people spend on diamonds every year.
Wow. speechless.

Speaking of diamonds..my friend (who is getting married in February) lost her diamond from her engagement ring last week!! They just moved into a house that they are doing major construction on(walls torn down, holes in floors etc...) and she said her ring got caught on to something and she jerked her hand away real fast and the diamond flew out. They still havent found it yet but she got a new diamond already since the ring was insured. Same size, same shape but she was hysterical as you can imagine.

omg that is horrible. speaking of loosing things... i got a bracelet from my sister for my bday( this past nov) & i lost it after we got back from the city,,, that su**ks sooo bad.... i hate that feeling.!!
