My friend had the Dion dress in diamond white. She brought a piece of the dress to where she got her veil and they just matched the color.

FYI - I had gotten a white veil that I love (won it on ebay before I found my dress), and then hoped that it would look ok with the diamond white dress. But, it's too much of a difference, so now I've got to find a new veil.

I ordered a swatch first so I can match my veil exactly. They said it would take 2-3 weeks to come in.

Well, I am crossing my fingers on this one. I ordered silk tulle and my aunt is making my veil for me. The silk tulle only came in white, ivory or cream. I ordered samples of all 3 and took them to a bridal shop to see which matched best and (on the cleanest possible part of the sample) the white actually didn't look too much off. The ivory and cream were definitely a no. I guess the silk white is not as bright as other whites?? Hopefully it will look ok. It's only 1 tier so there isn't any overlapping to make the white darker.

silk white is usually considered diamond white - silk white is never white white - i bought a silk white dress and it is closer to diamond white or off white

I didn't even know that the veils came in diamond white. Good to know! How did you order a swatch? From Maggie Sottero website or where you bought your dress?
