So Im wearing a diamond white dress. I went to get tuxes and they dont have diamond white shirts.... they only had white or ivory. So we picked white because the ivory looked yellow......so Im wondering is it really going to show that FH's shirt is white? Is this a big deal? FH thinks Im making a big deal when it really isnt.... that it wont show.... but this is making me nervous. What should I do?

Bring a swatch of your dress and put it next to the shirt in the tux shop and see what you think. I am exactly like you. I have a diamond white dress and my FH is wearing white shirt, white tie and white vest and it looks fine, I am not worried at all and I don't think you should either, but bring the swatch and check for yourself just in case so you feel better about it!

I wore a diamond white dress and my husband wore a white shirt and a white vest - they looked perfect.
Diamond white is much closer to white than Ivory, and men's ivory is more yellow than wedding dress ivory.

The tux color matters more than the shirt. The shirt will be tucked inside the tux so it's not as apparent as the tux color. As long as the dress shirt isn't bright or colorful it should be fine.I wore an ivory gown for my wedding and DH wore a chocolate tux w/ a white shirt which compliment my gown perfectly. Unless your gown is going to be ivory, the dress shirt is not going to be a problem at all. Ivory is a bit harder to find colors to match since it's off-white and leans towards a beige color.
