Can you wear a diamond/bridal white veil with an ivory gown? I found a veil that I like on E-bay...
it depends..my dress is called Ivory, my cape is diamond white and yes, they match perfectly, but there are many different shades of ivroy, some have a yellowish tint,etc, so becareful of teh color ivory, my ivroy drss is more of a diamond white, am I making any sense?

I think my dress is a true ivory, I am just afraid that a lighter veil will make it look dirty...
i'd be careful....espeically with ebay if you can't return it....of course if it doesn' match you can always resell it......
you can ask the seller to send you a sample of the color and then bid on a later auction. I find sellers are willing to do that, or make a custom auction for you.

I have an ivory dress as well and had the same concern so I went to the store today where I got mydress and asked them. They said some ivory shades have tints of yellow in it, so then diamond white wouldn't match, but mine was more of a white ivory rather than a yellow ivory, so I will be looking for a diamond white veil. You should ask the store where your dress it.

My E-bay gamble didn't pay off. I now own a beautiful brand new w/tags Edward Berger 3 tier Diamond White fingertip length veil (orig. $175) and it looks like I am being swallowed by a ghost! It is way to big for me!!!![]()

This is a pic of the veil. The edge is almost ivory. It is too funny! I might just have to post a pic of myself in it to show you what I mean... edited for pic.
