Diapers- how long did the baby stay in size 1/2

I am stocking up on diapers- Pampers. I have 192 Baby Dry size 1/2, 84 size 1 Swaddlers, 70 size 2 swaddlers and a case of 84 size 3 Cruisers. I use these 15% off coupons and a manufactures coupon at BRU and save over $4.00 each time. I have a few more coupons. How long did your baby's stay in size 1/2? They are 0-15lbs. I was thinking of getting another box of those and another size 3. I KNOW I will need more than this but I figured it is good to start getting some in the house plus saving the money.

Lyla used a lot more newborn size than I thought she would and a lot less size 1 than I bought. I ended up giving my sister 50 size 1 that I had leftover. I think what you bought is fine for now, you never know how big you baby will be and how they will grow. Lyla went to size 2 when she 10-11 lbs b/c of her chubby hips!

Sean was never in size 0. I only used 2 pkgs. of size 1! He *graduated* to size 2 at about 5 weeks, ~12 pounds. Honestly, it depends on the size of your baby. As you know, he was over 9 pounds, so he grew out of size 1 pretty quickly (as well as all of his 0-3 months clothes)!!

you will be ok- even if u stock up on a size that your baby outgrows as long as you dont open the package...and if u keep the reciept thats even better. Just brin git back to BRU for the bigger size.

we didnt like baby dry- found swaddlers better...and white cloud diapers (with John Lennon print YAY!) very good as well...can find them in Walmart (one in the sunrise mall)

I have 192 baby dry. I got them because they were a lot less expensive. I have swaddlers and cruises for the rest. what was wrong with the baby dry. Once I open that box I HAVE to use them.

You bought CRUISERS already? Whoa! Slow down, there Mommy! Give yourself some time to have the baby and let him/her GROW!

I also think that you are buying way too many diapers before the baby is even born! I had a total of 1 BOX each of Huggies and Swaddlers that I bought w/coupons. When we learned which diapers we preferred, THEN we went out with the rest of the coupons and did our 'STOCK UP' shopping trip.

I get 15% coupons that expire and I don't want to waste them- you know how I love my coupons.
And since I will be out of work I am trying to stock a bit now. I know that I can return diapers to BRU and switch unopened packages for another size too.

I only got the cruisers so I would have a box of them and I got them for around $8.00 fo a box of 70 or so. I had more than one coupon

I also got a case of wipes the other day...how many do you go thru per week approx? The case is 432.

We ALWAYS buy the wipes by the case - you go through them FAST - especially for a breastmilk baby b/c they usually have at least one BM during every feeding. So, no worries about stockpiling the wipes....they even come in handy to clean little hands when there's nothing else available.

Just be careful not to buy too much of one kind before you know what works on your baby. You can only exchange Pampers for Pampers, etc. If Huggies leak, you are stuck with them. BRU will not let you exchange them for the same size Pampers, even if they are the same price.
