Did a guest sing during your ceremony?

Did a guest sing during your ceremony?

My FH has a friend with an excellent voice. He'd like this guy to sing during the ceremony but I was wondering what songs people have used during their ceremony. It's a Catholic mass but not overly religious so it could be any kind of song. (I'm not even sure if the guy who would sing is Catholic - I'll have to find out. I kow he's religious.) Something not too difficult (or too long)

One of my girlfriends had our friend sing a Beatles song and play his guitar at her ceremony. It was in a Catholic Church. I thought it was really nice.

I sang 'Amazing Grace' during my friend's wedding, but I was a BM. It doesn't matter who's singing what in terms of religion, I sang what the bride wanted me to sing.

I've sung at a few friends weddings. They've asked me to sing, 'The Prayer, Amazing Graze, Ave Maria, One Hand, One Heart from West Side Story' but anything goes really as long as you're comfortable with it. I think its a really nice touch, because I'm a musician I'm having ALL my music friends play or sing at the church, and I've left it open to them what they think would be nice and if I like it, it'll happen! LOL
