FH and I decided that getting having him wear a white tie/vest/shirt will make him look very pale. So, he looked better in a platinum color - anyone else feel this way?
I see lots of pics with the groom in white - not sure if it's *supposed* to be this way...
The GM will be in a long tie that exactly matches BM dresses and a black vest, black tux.

Re: Did a white tux/vest wash out your FH?
My DH was not tan at all for our wedding, but I don't think the white on white washed him out. His vest had a tone-on-tone paisley pattern which may have helped, so it wasn't just solid white. His pic is in my avatar

I saw my friend's wedding pics of her hubby in white on white. It looked terrible on him, so my FH will be wearing platinum.

Are you talking about an all white tux or just the shirt, tie, and vest being white? As for an all white tux, I think that looks a little extreme... as for white shirt, tie, and vest... I think that looks okay, but platinum is a good idea if the white washed your FH out.

we never really thought of this, But DH had in his mind from day that he wanted to wear Platinum vest/tie, so we realy never even considered the white/white idea
