Did amyone ever get what they thought was their period...

but was really spotting and then got a BFP?

I think I have my AF but it has never been this light....and I have no cramps. Very strange for me.

Maybe I am way off base here....but just wondering.

My friend had this, thought it was her period, she just didn't feel right about a week or so later and took a test and BFP!

I had heard this can happen. I had the strangest spotting the other day. Like it looked like the begining of AF and then it stopped. I am not due until the 19th. I am going to take a test in a week.

how long does this spotting usually last? If you thought it was AF...wouldn't it last longer than a day or 2?

took another and it was neg. Guess it was just a weird period.

I never have spotting and last month, I had one day like a nosebleed (sorry!! that's the onnly way I can think of describing), then nothing for two days, then a day of spotting.

I almost miss the pill!!! So predictable!!!

are you recently off the pill? I never had spotting before until I stopped taking bcp. After stopping the pill my periods were diffferent. I would spot for a couple of days and then af would come full blown.

That weird thing happened to me. The first month of TTC - I had such a weird period. It was very light and only lasted 2.5 days - my period usually lasts close to 7 days. I was all confused and started thinking could it be implantation bleeding or something else. I also had none of my normal PMS symptoms. In my case, it was just a weird period. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks, because I thought it could have possibly been for real. who knows...but even when I got pregnant the next month, DH and I always wondered if I was further along than I was (esp since I was so bloated I looked preggo quick in our eyes)...but tests show that it definitely wasn't. yes, my AFs ALWAYS last 5 to 7 days

and this one lasted 2.5 days, same as you Niecey and ZERO AF symptoms. Zero.

maybe next month? lol

Maybe you will have simliar luck to me and next month will be the lucky month. I have to tell you until I had my u/s at 11 weeks - I still wondered if I was further along? Don't you love how your body plays games with you!!

Do you think you could be experiencing an effect of coming off the pill? I have heard the first month or two off the pill can be normal and then the sometimes you have strange periods until your body is fully adjusted?? who knows?

I was the same came off the pill in late July due because I thought I was pregnant (chemical) then decided to just stop all together. Had AF for 2.5 days in August and concieved labor day weekend and I'm now 8 weeks along.

My regular AF while on Ortho was tuesday-saturday.
