Did any men take flip flops at your wedding? How many people took?
Should I only get womens flip flops? i assume no man will take. Also, what percentage of the women actually take them? Im having about 80 women so i thought I would buy 60 pairs of flip flops. does that sound about rite?

I didn't have my wedding yet but I have been to many where they have flip-flops for us ladies... IMO, I wouldn't worry about the men, unless you are getting married on the beach somewhere and it is sandy. As for the woman I wouldn't go all nuts with trying to make sure every woman on your list has a pair, Again unless you are getting married on a beach somwhere. But I highly doubt that Grandma sue & Great Aunt Betty will be taking off their shoes and throwing on a pair of flip flops.
I ordered about 50 Pairs, and my guest list is averaging 220, I am hoping no more then 180 show. But it is just a small gesture for your guests in case their feet hurt.

MY flip-flops were a HUGE hit! EVeryone wanted a pair - and I only bought 30 pairs for 175 guests, thinking that some of the guests wouldn't want to be bothered changing - I was SOOO wrong! Even my mom changed into them! GO FOR IT! - If you can, wait till Old Navy has their 1 dollar sale, then get like 20 friends/relatives to go with you to ON and buy them up - you're allowed 5 pairs per person.

I had 300 guests and provided 75 pairs of chinese slippers. I figured 150 of the guests were women, and about half of those were elder women and other women who really didn't care... so I ended up providing 75. It was also the most amount that I could physically carry myself from chinatown!

Where in chinatown did you get these and how much were they?

Flip flops vs chinese slippers....which are cheaper? I'm thinking of doing this for the wedding....but its a 'maybe, if we have left over $$' idea.... Any price 'quotes'?
Forgot to mention, the guest list is looking to be about 400 people...guestimate i would buy 100-200 shoes.

Don't forget, some women also wear pantyhose under their dresses. Depending on when your wedding is, like in the winter, I would think most would be wearing pantyhose, so Chinese slippers would be better than flippies.
