I just started looking for my MOH's dress. I went to three stores and while I was there I decided to try on a few wedding gowns for the hell of it even though I knew I would be coming back with my mom before I purchased anything. The tried on one dress in the first store, it was pretty,lace and mermaid style but I'm not sure if I would comfortable in that style dress all night long at my wedding or wish I would have went with a ballgown type dress.The people at the place were kind of annoying telling everyone how beautiful they looked and being kind of pushy. Plus I read a ton of bad reviews of this place so am hesitant on buying anything from them. Next place I tried on a Maggie but I didn't care for the top too much, thought it was too low and it was sooo heavy I couldn't imagine walking around in the dress all night. Yesterday I went to Valentina's, which I would highly recommend. They have beautiful gowns, very reasonably priced and the girl who helped me and the two other people there were beyond nice and helpful. We are ordeirng my MOH's dress and any of the BM dresses from there. I didn't plan on trying on any dresses but couldn't resist. So I tried on 3 Maggies. The first 2 were too plain and did nothing for my body. Then I tried on the third ballgown. This is the first dress that caught my eye when I was looking with the salesgirl at dresses and I kept going back to it when I was looking. When I tried it on I feel in love and couldn't get the smile off my face and MOH loved it too. The guy who designs dresses for the store came up from the front where he was and said how beautiful it was on and I should stop looking bc this was the dress lol. Anyway, I made an appt to go back this weekend with my mom. Now I am one of the most pickiest people when it comes to dresses or clothes. For my e-party I tried on literally about 25 dresses. I was going to go to Lotus in BK this sat then back to Valentinas. I know myself and if I keep looking and looking I'll just drive myself crazy. All I keep doing is thinking about the dress from yesterday. Is it possible I found the dress so soon?

i think it's definitely possible. it wouldn't hurt to just check out a few more dresses though -if you keep going back to that one, you know that it is it! which dress was it?

I found my dress on the first day that I went serious dress shopping, i didn't think i was going to find it that fast either, when you know you just know

Mine was the very first one I tried on! I went in with a pic and said I want to see this, along with 6 other's and yupp the first one it was all along. I have prob tried on about 15+ gowns in total but it didn't matter and I just knew

I found my dress on my first day out as well. I had been eying it on line for a while and I knew I had to try it on. When I tried it on it wasn't my size (like most brides) so I had to visualize it and it still took my breath away. I ended up ordering it that day. I think I tried on 3 in total that day. After I ordered I tried on a couple of more dresses on, weeks later just to say I had the full dress shopping experience and tried on every style, but none of them compared to my first dress. I still get excited when I open the garment bag every now and then to sneak a peak!

its definitely possible, i would try on a few more dresses at another salon before you go back this way you can be sure and wont doubt your decision, i found mine relatively quickly but i did try on about 80 dresses within like 2 weeks lol

I found my dress the second time I went shopping. I saw it online 2 months before I even got engaged and I just loved it. But I thought I would not like it in person, so I didn't check it out until the second time i went shopping and I loved it before I even tried it on. My MOH was with me and she fell in love with it just like I did and there was no doubt that it was the dress for me. And the price was even better; it allowed me to buy a Indian wedding outfit for my reception.

I found mine on the first day too. I went to one store, tried on about 20 or 25 gowns, and found one that I thought was 'the one.' I was ready to order it on the spot, but I already made an appointment for another store that afternoon, so I figured I'd wait. Well thank God I did, b/c I went to the second store and really found 'the one.' I was walking around the store in the gown for almost an hour.....I didn't want to take it off!

Mine was the 7th one i tried on, i always heard when you know you know, it is sooo true! I knew it as soon as she zipped me up! I refused to take it off until my father came and saw me (an hour later) i finally took it off! lol
