DID any of you get that eye laser

i am thinking about to do it
But where did you get it done?
Was it pricey?

YES, and I love it. I'm one of the few people who had it done over 5 years ago!!! It was the LASIK surgery that they still do now but I believe that the computer programming for mapping the eye has only gotten better. Mine was a major success!!!!

MY DH had it done recently at TLC. He loved the place, but it was very expensive and their warranty is only valid if you take certain steps to keep it valid (Dr. visits on a rigid schedule, etc).

I had mine done by a Dr. Hatsis in Rockville Center. He is very good and is one of the few doctors who owns his own equipment rather than working through a larger LASIK center. He teaches other doctors how to do LASIK and has studied extensively about problems that can develop with the 'flap' that they cut. Flap problems are the most common LASIK problems. I'm a lawyer and another lawyer friend went to him and he told the friend that he has testified about proper procedures when Drs were sued for doing it wrong!

i had it done about 3 and half years ago - used Dr. Donnefeld rom TLC - he did mine, and both my brothers surgeries - the laser he has for LASIK you do not have to smell you eye burning anymore

i have 20/15 vision in both eyes - and i was high risk patient as with my older brother

my younger broterh had it about a year ago - it was $7500-8000 i think for both - insurance covered some - and you can pay for it with a medical expense account -(pre-tax money set aside) or pay for it and then use it as a deduction
