flat out ask you how much you paid per plate? My aunt did and I was a lil thrown off. She's older...so she has no filter and just says what she is thinking. She then told me 'Smme of the family members want to know so they know how to gift you'.

my co-worker asked... but he's also the one that told me that my ering must be fake because it was too fancy and somebody else asked, i just dont remember who... i think one of my bms, which i dont care about that, i think if you're involved in the planning then its okay.
oh and my parents friend in VA asked for my quotes because she is/was opening a catering hall down there, she's like i'm not interested in the price, I just want to see what food they're offering. she saw the prices and was SHOCKED! she's like 'is this how much you're paying?' granted it was one of the more expensive places.. but I told her no, just a little bit less....
meanwhile she lived in NY for her whole life, they moved down there like 16 years ago... she knows everything up here is pricey!

ppl asked me - closer family members and some close friends - I didnt care, I told them as it was not asked for gift but just as a conversation and being interested in how I'm doing

My mother has already told me she has increased our price per person to those snoopy ones asking. She doesn't want any of these people giving small gifts.

We had a few ask. We didn't want to give out our $ info. but DH did tell people a little hight than what we paid. Serves them right for snooping around. I have a step cousin who is so nosy!! she asked the cost of every thing since the engagement party!
