did any one know...

there is a $3000 a day limit on your debit card? was just trying to pay photographer. I had no idea. the guy at the bank actually told me I should have read my disclosure papers - I mean come on who reads those?? Maybe it's just me. Just wanted to share - and vent

but on a better note - found out balance isnt due until we pick up the proofs. YAY!!!!

I never read those things either!! my bank just started charging for a checking account, and apparently that was is those stupid papers too, they can start charging without notice!!! Figures!

I don't have that on my debit card. More than once, I've charged well over $5,000 to it. I don't know what the limit is, but it's definitely over $5,000.

Every bank and every debit card is different. Call your bank to check your limit (if any). Also, if you need to put a higher amount than your limit, you can usually call the bank to authorize a one-time transaction.

Yea--I would NEVER have that problem!!! Money comes in and then goes right back out!
