did anybody hear about the ball player who died?

my hubby was listening to the radio and he told me that a ball player in Texas died from a Parasite. Is this true? Did anyone hear anything like this? The only one I can think of is Giambi. But I dont know if this is true or not

That's the only baseball player news I heard lately (ken caminiti) - the results of his autopsy are released and surprise, surprise (sarcasim) if was drug over dose...but I think everyone suspected that way before this was released.
