Did anyone...

have second thoughts after you booked your venue? We recently put a deposit down and now I'm wondering if I should have kept looking. We are looking to have a July 07 wedding and were afraid we wouldn't have too many choices left.

Well I am having second thoughts abou my photographer No real reason...just a gut feeling. As far as my reception hall is concerned I am super happy..my only down fall is that it is far away from my fam. and Im hoping they can all make it.

What is it that you're having second thoughts about?

Is it stuff you think are temporary worries? Or stuff that will make you unhappy with your day?

You could check out another place or two that has your date available, and see if you find a place you like more than where you left a deposit.

I don't think I'd call the place you booked until I had found a new place ... don't want to be left without any place to have the wedding!

YES! MEeeeeeeeeee LOL unfortunately....but i changed my hall because i didnt feel comfotable doing it there any more and i honestly couldnt be more happier! Youll make the right decision.

You can keep looking - most places will refund your deposit once they book the date with someone else

I had second thoughts after I made a deposit with Crest Hollow CC, but then I called hem up and got my deposit back after I decided to go with Majestic Gardens....so I'm sure you can get your deposit back IF you know where you want to have your reception at.

I think I'm having second thoughts mainly because it wasn't our first choice. Our first choice didn't have any of the dates we wanted. We booked this venue more for the convenience. But if this continues to bother me, maybe we should explore other options.

If you are having second thoughts about your date talk to you hall. They may let you change it.

IMO- if you feel this way its better to get out sooner than later. They only have your deposit which is bad to lose but its nothing compared to my situation where we cancelled our hall 6 months after booking it and theyre holding onto ALOT of our money.
