I got Jeff a muffler and exhaust system for his 1961 VW bug He restores old cars and has needed that part for awhile and he thought it was the perfect gift!

I gave him money to put towards a new car that he wants. He fought with me about it because he didn't want to take the money. I made him though lol. Instead of putting it towards a car, he started an IRA.

lol Im with you, I wanted to get him a playstation 3 and then he somehow caught on to the plan and told me I didn't have the money for that, and it turned out he was right.

no i didnt and then i felt bad. . . so for his birthday ( ten months later) i got him a crazy birthday present for both events - a weekend at Mohegan Sun - and i paid for everything. . . i have never paid for anything before so he enjoyed it!

FH told me he would be mad at me if i spent any money on him-- but then i bought his flight home for X-mas and our flight for our vacation while he was home (so i guess that kinda counts lol)

FH & I shopped together forEVER (about 10 months) for my , and he waited almost 2 months before asking, so I had plenty of time to save for it

yea i know i wanted to do something like that but chris would have been mad that i spent the $$
but i joke because chris proposed on my bday and i joke that i got ripped off a present cause the engagement ring wasnt my bday gift
