Well I wouldn't think it is too late, I just sent mine into my hometown paper (New Mexico) just so my lost friends would know

Me Too!! Actually this summer it will be 2 years. I think it is mostly to say hey this is where we are getting married and stuff since now it is actually set in stone
i wanted to , but i didn't realize how expensive it was, so i figured i would wait to announce the marriage! and by the time i looked into it we were engaged for a couple of months...

I've been engaged for a year and half - is it too late to put an announcement in Newsday? And do you really have to pay for it?
My friend had her announcement laminted and she put it in her bathroom lol really though it looked very funny in an ironic way

newsday- it was so great seeing it in black and white! my mom did it- i think it was 60 dollars. defninitely a momento i'll have forever!!!

We were engaged for over a year and my mom just posted it in Suffolk Life and Newsday. Suffolk Life has a huge write up and they send you extra copies of the page. I felt like someone special.
