to get a little lower of a price?

We did. We said we had a budget and we liked his work and wanted to book but could he work on the price and he said sure and knocked off a couple of hundred.

What?!!! You guys are making me feel bad...the best bargain I ever did saved me a hundred dollars. You guys have to teach me tricks.

You can bargain with just about anyone in this indutry... I'm even bargaining for my dress! The magic sentence... 'Can you do any better for me?' and then if they give you a number... 'C'mon, any better?' and make sure you smile!
Saved me a couple of thousand so far. I'm not kidding!

I have trouble bargaining also. I feel funny. But I guess in the long run, it's worth...I just have to get the nerve.

I feel funny too...it's just that if a vendor's work is really good, I think they might get offended if I asked for a discount. Or they might feel like they're not getting paid for what they're worth so they won't do as good a job as they usually do. Or maybe it's all in my head and I should just lear how to bargain/ negotiate. See the problem is my wedding is this sept and I think most vendors thing I'd say yes to whatever they say because it's so close to my wedding date! Which is partly so you brides out there who have a lot of time before the wedding, start checking out vendors! That should give you a better leverage to bargain.
