Did anyone buy a dress from Jessica Mcclintock?

I found a great dress, and they said it would take only 2 weeks to order. And, I have to get it altered from my own tailor. So, even though the dress is beautiful, and the price is great, should I trust that it will be in so soon, and should I trust a tailor that doesn't specialize in wedding dresses?

I have the number of a bridal seamstress. I called her about making a FG dress for me. She was very nice and works at a top bridal salon. She also does seamstress work out of her house. e-mail me at [email protected] if you want her information. I just don't want to post it since I do not know if she wants anyone she works with to know. I would only trust a bridal seamstress to do work on a wedding gown.

I have been thinking about getting a McClintock dress, and asked about it on the knot's dress thread. Several girls from all over the country said that they got their dress faster than they expected, and in perfect condition. As far as the tailor, I think that if you have someone you trust, I'm sure they can handle the alterations on the dress themselves. If you don't have a tailor you usually use, then try to find someone who makes custom dresses who would be willing to do the alterations.
