Did anyone buy a house with an illegal appt in it?
We're currently in negotiations on a house that has one and I'm curious it anyone had trouble with their lender.
Did the seller have to remove anything?
What did they have to remove?

They're not using it either. If we can agree on the price, then DH and I are in for a lot of work. The whole house needs to be gutted. We were hoping to utilize it during the renovation process.

Thats exactly what we are doing! it is nice to be able to live in the apartment while the house is ripped apart!

I've seen your pictures. It's really amazing what you are doing.
I'm both excited and nervous to try this also. If not on this one then the next one that comes along.
