Did anyone buy the IPEX bra from VS?

I've heard that a lot of people LOVE IT!! I wouldn't know..my boobs are too big for VS......it SUX

I bought it, and I am EXTREMELY disappointed.

First of all, the sizes are wacky. I needed a 38D- I'm usually a 34 or 36.

I've worn it a couple times, and the wires have already poked through under the arms. I brought it back to VS w/ the receipt, and I was told that there are no refunds on items already worn. The date on the receipt proved that I bought it just a week earlier, and I told her I only wore it 2 times, but she said that 'There's no way the wires would poke through after 2 wearings - are you SURE you only wore it twice?'



They wouldn't give me any money back at all. I will not be buying there in the future.

That's awful. I've had no problems with VS at all, and I really wanted to try the IPEX. I ONLY wear VS

ETA: Did you try calling corporate?

I think you should call and write letters until you get your $50 back!

I used to work for Victoria's Secret. The policy is to take back items- no questions asked. Bare minimum, she could have offered to exchange the bra.

The behind the scenes issue is that your $47 return will hit the store 'numbers' and they'll get in trouble for have a low average sale amount.

If you call them, they will ABSOLUTELY require the store to refund your money (as long as you have your receipt, otherwise you will get a store credit)

I cannot believe they didn't take it back!!! My friend returned the Very Sexy Bra because the padding was all bunched up and didn't lay right. They took it back....with no problems...

I promise: the girl wouldn't let shorty return her bra because the store had low numbers for that day. We used to play the same game when I was a manager there- but, bare minimum, we would offer to exchange the bra because we could just 'damage out' the one that was defective.

but, if it was obvious that the customer was pissed, we would issue the refund because we would get in A LOT of trouble if someone complained that we wouldnt' issue a refund. Not issuing a refund is a CLEAR violation of the store policy, especially if the customer as a receipt and the bra is only 1 week old.

they should definitely let you return it - I used to work there also and we were told we had to take EVERYTHING back - even some woman who brought in her underwear that were bought ON SALE months earlier.....and had been worn quite a bit!

Try going back to a different store, or asking to see a manager....they will eventually return it!

Nothing from VS fits me either. Kinda stinks that those who really NEED bras are not accomodated by stores that only sell that type of merchandise!

You need to go back and ask to see a manager. I bought a pair of pajamas from there wore and washed them twice and the string that holds them together ripped right out. The salesgirl gave me a hard time but the manager gave me a full refund. The merchandise was defective so they had better take it back.

And yes, it was the manager that told me I couldn't return it, and even doubted that I was telling her the truth.

I am going to take Suven's advice and call corporate - I hope I still can without a receipt!!!

Nicole, I'd still definitely call corporate. That is BS.

I too don't like how VS bras fit. They were totally hyping this bra, but I didn't see what was so special about it in the store.

For $47 bucks, I'll hold my boobs up myself!

Did you use a credit card to buy it? Can't you call the credit card company and get a copy of the receipt?

I've done it with AMEX a few times when purchases weren't mine of I wasn't sure when I bought something.

I'm actually pretty big (38D/DD) and VS bras are great..they're the only thing I wear. i was annoyed when they changed some of their BBV bras, so they no longer fit me.

Definitely get your $$ back though!


You know what cracks me up..when they asked you if you were sure yuo had only worn it twice? How many times could you havr worn it in a week? Even if you wore it 7 times, how would that make it ok for it to have broken?
